Purpose / Job Summary
To provide Getproof customers (especially assigned customers) with timely, accurate, and complete information and solutions in a courteous manner, successfully resolving the issues or questions they have.

Compensation: Salary - 30K - 45K DOE
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engage in proactive contact with assigned customers, increasing the value of our services and the effectiveness of our products in their environment
- Log each case received into the case management system, and keep all cases up-to-date by logging actions taken, emails, contacts, and other pertinent information
- Consistently share problem/resolution information, troubleshooting tips, white papers, training information, etc., and help to keep the knowledgebase up to date
- Contribute in any way necessary as a member of the Escalation team
- Exhibit a willingness to help out in any way when the workload becomes abnormally heavy or when team members are away from the office
- Develop and possibly deliver training to GetProof customers.
- Offer project leadership in the areas of software documentation & testing
- Plan personal and group training time such that the most effective learning can take place during that time. Provide suggestions for group training to the Global Escalation team, and assist in training co-workers
- Be an advocate to the customer by coordinating all product enhancements and defects through the Escalation team
- Provide on-site customer assistance as required
- Mentor other Technical Support Engineers
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Systems
- 1-2 yrs Customer Service/Technical Support experience
- Database experience or knowledge: MS SQL and Paradox/Access, etc
- In-depth knowledge of WIN 9x/NT/2K and PC desktop hardware support and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to excel in a team oriented environment, demonstrating enthusiasm for the job
- Excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills, written and verbal.
- Able to type efficiently, and effectively use a computer and telephone throughout the day
- Ability to quickly learn new hardware and software applications and environments
Preferred Skills (not required):
- Technical Certifications such as ACE, MCSE, CCNA, CNA, CNE, and A+
- Knowledge of SQL and Java/ASP programming languages
- Working knowledge of Seagate Crystal Reports and MS Word Mail Merge functions
- Background in healthcare industry is a plus
