Services
Data collected and managed over a period of time is very valuable. Being able to convert and preserve that data to a new system preserves that value and saves time and money. GetProof provides Data Conversion Services to convert any existing provider data into the VisionSPS Database. GetProof uses a set of well developed tools and processes, enhanced over years of service, to convert data from many different systems and formats. Data Conversion Services will deliver a high ROI on client data conversions.
Selection of this conversion option is usually driven by the needs and requirements of the client’s IT department. Most conversions require an extensive effort in mapping and translating data between systems. This requires experience and knowledge of provider related data, databases, data transformation and all the industry tools and tricks for converting data. Experience tells us that most clients find this process to be much more complex and time consuming than initially anticipated. We ask our clients to remember that long-term data integrity STARTS on the front-end in this conversion process. We should expect the ultimate integrity of our data, to be as good as the time, attention and cost spent on this vital data conversion process.
One of our post-implementation goals for new clients is for them to immediately “go live” with all of their pre-existing provider information, in their new Vision database. We follow a proven methodology to accomplish this goal and effectively manage the data conversion process. The client is closely involved in order to assure a complete and successful data conversion.
Conversion methodology used by GetProof Certified Consultants includes the following:

Our experience with hundreds of provider file conversions tells us the estimated cost to be around $7,500. The actual cost will vary based on the complexity of the data, number of providers, and the number of databases and fields to convert.

Basic Data Conversion Services
GetProof also offers a fixed data format conversion solution. In this conversion, the client receives a pre-formatted file (excel file) that includes a standard set of provider data fields. The client is responsible for entering or populating all the data in the corresponding fields for every provider. The client is also responsible for all data integrity. Once complete, the file is returned to GetProof where a conversion tool uploads the data into the VisionSPS database. This option is effective for clients that need conversion of small amounts of data, but that do not require excessive mapping and data translation. |
