Pre-Requisites

· Vision Professional
· MDAC 2.6 or higher
· JDK 1.3x
· Tomcat 3.3x
· Connectivity between web server and Vision DB. *

* IMPORTANT! Network Security is your responsibility. If you are concerned about securing your web applications, we strongly recommend you use the GetProofWeb Application Framework to safely expose data to authenticated users via secured and encrypted connections and sessions.

Run-time Options

Users can:
   · search by Physician Name, ID, Type, Clinical Area, or by Privilege.
   · search and view real-time information from the Vision DB.
   · select entity information from a pre-configured drop-down.

Accessibility / Target Audience

· VisionPrivileges is password protected and only accessible to those whom you give explicit access.
· VisionPrivileges resides on a web server that can be made available to Internal and/or external users.
· This solution is intended for internal users who need instant access to real-time privilege information.

Future Releases Enhancements (under evaluation)

· All configuration options accessible through installer that updates delivered files.
· Text in page configurations/edits via install/include.
· Ability to determine which Entities will show up in the entity drop-down.

Known Issues

The URL is case-sensitive, be sure to capitalize the V and P of ...:8080/VisionPrivileges

If you have note icons appearing that show no related notes, use the 'PrivilegessFixFor115.sql' file (available via SSH) to corrent this proble
There is also a new PractPrivProj.exe file (also available via SSH) that will stop this problem from happening in the future.
