Cameron Penner

Cameron Penner is a Consultant on the Government Relations team at Proof Strategies in Ottawa. He provides both GR and PR support for clients such as Kanetix Ltd., SOCAN, Multivesco, Ontario Virtual School and Bullfrog Power by performing tasks such as media monitoring, research, and media and government relations.

Prior to joining the team in Ottawa, Cameron worked on Proof’s Corporate and Financial Practice in Toronto, supporting the public relations efforts for clients like Google, Equitable Bank and the Investment Planning Counsel.

Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Carleton University and a diploma of Public Relations from Algonquin College. After graduating from Algonquin, Cameron did a four-month internship at Toronto agency where he got his first taste of fast-paced and exciting agency work. A former competitive swimmer and lifeguard, Cameron enjoys spending as much time as he can at his cottage in the summer. During the winter months he can be found either alpine skiing or inside reading a book (or gaming!) on his days off.

Cameron loves dogs and is glad to be back near his family’s Ganaraskan, named Scout, who lives in Stittsville with his parents.
